Simple and cheap, here is another way to stay causative if you get sick.
The doctor in the video is just lovely, and you will feel much less alarmed after hearing what she has to say. This illness CAN be managed successfully, if you are prepared and know how.
So happy to have found this information!
First 8 minutes are about nasal hygiene, then it gets into breathing.
Another tool!
Update 2/15/22:
The breathing exerciser below was just too boring to use on a regular basis. It was not very hard at the top resistance, and we quickly abandoned it (see below for better option):

Instead of the above, I got this below for my husband during his active Covid, and he said it was challenging, so I’ll bet it is more effective, too! I recommend having this one on hand.

Update 1/12/23:
Here are the pronating exercises mentioned in my post on keeping oxygen levels up at night . Read the post if low oxygen saturation is your concern.
No, they are not about lying prone (on your stomach) for hours on end, they are about actively clearing mucus out of your lungs to help your breathing:
Proning Instructions and Demonstrations
Dr DeMello’s instructions:
“Very Important to do proning for 5-10 minutes each time, at least 4-5 times a day.

I know some people who got relief and excellent lung clearing from using the 3% hypertonic saline product mentioned:
Lazy person’s shortcut to get 3% hypertonic saline is to buy these 3% sterile ampules on Amazon.

You can also get 7% hypertonic saline – this website has a description of the benefits:
“Recent clinical studies in patients with cystic fibrosis, have shown that inhalation of hypertonic saline produced a sustained acceleration of mucus clearance and improved lung function. This treatment improves sputum viscosity and ease expectoration.”
Also available on Amazon for a few more dollars:
